Sewing
When I was a small child my mom sewed me a Charmander costume for Halloween. I have this vivid memory of her at the kitchen table with the sewing machine out, and the pieces of the costume just held together with pins. I think that was the moment I fell in love with sewing. I began sewing more seriously when I was a teen, put it down for awhile and found my love for it again in my adulthood.
